Six of us met at Massacre
Ranch, on Saturday morning, June 19, 1999. Located in the western area of the NCA, Massacre Ranch was a stopping point for Emigrants. Today, Hunters frequent the area using the shelter during camp outs.
Our goal was to transform
the pink two room structure into an inviting sage-green shelter.
We were able to paint the building inside and out. We swept it
out and gave a fresh coat of white to the interior. Thanks to
Hugh's trusty generator and the "power painter" we
were able to complete the whole project in only a few hours.
Thanks to Susan Lynn for putting together a great lunch.
